Partnerships

In collaboration with The James Hutton Institute, we are developing a Total Control Environment Agriculture (TCEA) approach to vanilla cultivation in Scotland.

We began working with The James Hutton Institute in 2019 and this research has underpinned the core Scottish Precision Cures process at the heart of Vanilla Labs — a precise, profile-led approach to producing commercial-grade vanilla.

We also work directly with small-holder farmers in equatorial regions, ensuring sustainable, year-round supply of freshly harvested pods. By combining advances curing technology with transparent, progressive farmer partnerships, Vanilla Labs delivers both quality and traceability — from farm to flavour.
